Our focus is to offer the best possible learning through hands-on, project-based activities that grant students an opportunity to solve real-world problems through out-of-the-box thinking and develop the skills that are necessary to excel in the technologically-advanced world. At IAM Tinkering STEM Studio, we move from idea generation to implementation, tapping into each child’s natural desire to experiment and explore.
Why STEM ?
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Taken together, these subjects are the foundations of fields from healthcare to computer programming. However, integrating these studies gives children skills useful in any subject, including critical thinking, inquiry, problem solving and creativity. Learning STEM is perfectly suited to kids’ natural desires to explore experiment and it promotes thinking outside the box, looking at challenges from different angles and rewriting the narrative on setbacks as an opportunity to learn something new.
